Last updated: April 30, 2026

1. Introduction

Syntiva ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Syntiva SEO audit platform. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use and protect it. By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register.
  • Billing information: Payment method details processed and stored by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full card numbers.
  • Usage data: Domains you audit, reports generated, features accessed, and timestamps of activity.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and cookies used to authenticate sessions and analyze platform performance.
  • Communications: Emails or messages you send to our support team.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve the Service, including generating SEO audit reports.
  • To process payments and manage your subscription.
  • To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, plan changes).
  • To send product updates and marketing emails (you may opt out at any time).
  • To detect and prevent fraud or abuse.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), cloud hosting providers, and analytics tools — each bound by data processing agreements.
  • Legal authorities: When required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of users or the public.

5. Cookies

We use cookies to maintain your logged-in session, remember preferences, and understand how the platform is used. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but doing so may prevent you from logging in or using core features.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. After account closure, data is retained for 30 days before deletion. Audit reports are retained for the duration of your subscription plus 30 days. You may request immediate deletion of your data by contacting us.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access a copy of your personal data.
  • Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Object to or restrict certain types of processing.
  • Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format).

To exercise these rights, email privacy@syntiva.io.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, and access controls. No system is completely secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If we become aware that we have collected data from a minor, we will delete it promptly.
